Is there anywhere that supplies a bunch of coffees in a sample size?  Say enough for 2 cups or so of each type?

I feel like Captain Kirk, on a brand new planet every day, a little like King Kong on top of the Empire State

How well do bean keep in the freezer and can you grind them straight from the freezer?  Better using the fridge?

Store them in a cool place if unopened and freezer when you are consuming them. Grind them about ten minutes after the freezer.

Based on my experience of wasting far too many opened bags. Some people will say don't use the freezer but mine have been always been stored in plastic containers in the freezer and don't appear to deteriorate.

Yep, freezer is ok, but do your best to avoid moisture and contamination from strong smells. I would suggest storing unopened bags in freezer. Then use quickly when opened. Always press air out of the bag.
