...but babyMekon was up from 2am-6am and I need to drop some stuff off after work. I took my running stuff in and did a 5k instead.

Similarly, PikeMoggit has been confined to the house for six days and has been serenading us at 2a.m. each night. Hence no cycling, due to shortness of sleep.

Mrowl.

Next week, due to Easter Hols, not only will the traffic be very light, but a parking space is available under our building.
I intend to drive in every day. Other than the occasionally rare one off for business or personal logistical reasons - It's been 15 to 20 years since I've done that.    Wish me luck - I'm sure I can do it.

I could have commuted in today but ... there would be no point because we're closed. Hurrah for public holidays!

I did it!  A whole week of driving to work.  A very interesting experiment.  I think I deserve some sort of congratulation.

Well that's got that out of my system.

...I just bailed out. I hadn't washed my kit due to a very busy weekend and couldn't face the journey at 0600hrs in last week's smelly kit.

...I had a day off.
Physio appointment in Ashbourne, and took the Brommie there on the bus.  Which was free on the way out, as the bus had been so delayed by a road closure.

...Tuesday is one of the days I act as my wife's chauffeur, so I only got to ride the last couple of km, which is particularly galling when it's such a lovely day out there.

Anyway, cos it's so nice out, I brought the fast bike today and I'm counting the minutes until I can get out for a post-work ride. What's the betting it'll be raining by 6pm?

... Tuesday night is a sculling night, and 20 miles on a bike is a looong warm-up. Ely - Littleport - Ely on the Ouse now the evenings are light enough.

I believe some nasty long pyramids are in the plan. Oh, goody.

. . . .  619km of the BCM has left me a bit sore and I need to pick up some wood from B&Q on the way home. Next bike commute on Thursday.

...I have been "training" sunday/monday/tuesday and I have to take a large parcel to Taunton and pick up

1) a tent
2) a bag of cement
3) a bag of sand
4) a couple of handbells

I don't have a trailer or a cargo bike so don't give me a hard time about this :)
