Ginge is being quite nervy and restless.
He's been at the vet's all day as we needed to get a urine sample. This is not easy with a cat. The usual method involves replacing the cat litter with special non-absorbent granules and sampling the result with a pipette. Unfortunately, Ginge will not use a tray so equipped. Last time we tried he expressed his disapproval by suing our bed at about four in the morning, with me directly beneath him.
Trouble is, he is definitely a 'poor old thing' now. He needs daily medication for a thyroid condition, is deaf, is on a special diet for his kidneys, is losing weight and has a heart murmur.
