Looks like Tomsk doesn't fancy hugging you so usurped you on the roll call

Cross Keys HP - BS 25
                          WM 20

Maybe next week.  It would have some symmetry as that is where we had our September outing.

Rode past yesterday - they look to have added to their outdoor facilities with some cabins. However, on Wednesday evening the football is showing from 20:00: multiple screens, inside and out! A different venue needed for this week, maybe?

Yeah, I may also skip this week due to Friday, Been a long while since I clocked up a 300 and this will my first 300 overnighter. Also have a bit of turbo to fit in during the week and add to that I am out for dinner on the 29th - that should be a laugh trying to stay awake.

Still, weather looking good so it should be a nice ride. Looked at the indexing on the casette today and no idea what the LBS had done to it! Think its okay now though.

If I manage to get ahead on the turbo, I'll turn up, but I doubt it.

This reminds me. Must check Dynamo light works ahead of Friday. Haven’t used it for a few months.

If the Wild West contingent is looking depleted, we can think of somewhere a bit more central/Eastern but still Tomsk-friendly.

I assume we are sticking with one outdoor group ?

The Sun at Feering was good as was the Swan at Totham.  The Swan feels as if it should be a bit more Eastern but isn't really:

Tomsk Towers - Swan 22mi

Tomsk Towers - Sun 20mi

Any other suggestions within the magical triangle of centrality ?

At least the pubs not showing the football will be quiet.

Looking forwards and all being well, we should have another 3 nights of Step 3 rules after this week.  Cross Keys HP, Swan/Sun and SH in any combination works - unless EER want a trip to the Oddie and/or the Alma.

It will be interesting to see what awaits us at our other regular venues when we are allowed back inside...

Tomsk Towers - Swan 22mi

Tomsk Towers - Sun 20mi

Happy with either - but from The Sun it's a simpler night ride route home for me via Silver End & Braintree, so slightly preferred over The Swan. I've got to be out early-ish on Thursday, so won't stay out that late though.

Today's top tip - don't sit next to Oaky or Hotblack if you want an earlier finish

We had lunch at The Compasses yesterday and Pete asked what time my Mersea got home after a SH session, I said between 1 and 2am.  Pete was suitably impressed!
