My mother-in-law immortalised after cycling to her local post office. I like how the face-recognition blurring has prioritised the bike.

I'm on there. Twice.
Or at least it was twice until they updated the photo in Crystal Palace   :(
I'm still there with His Leggship and Adrian in Seasalter, just outside Whitstable.

I'll try and dig out the Crystal Palace pic tonight.

A good range of attitudes to the camera in the Seasalter pic.  :)

Apparently going through a red light, too  :-\ The driver behind me was so distracted by the Google van that he just kept going through the amber phase while pointing out the van to his kid, so I either carried on or stopped and got rear-ended.

Google's quality assurance has deemed my trainee and me not suited for public viewing. The junction where I was spotted hard at work teaching Bikeability L2 right turn, has been updated.

Looks like the audax walk - the (barely) mobile equivalent of the 1000 yard stare.

It might be my route to work tomorrow, I'm going to Eurocentral.

I think you will be a bit off route if you cut through there - I'm heading for the Strathclyde business park. Euro central is a bit 'the other way'

I'm going to be cycling from Bellshill or Holytown station, depending on the time I get to Glasgow, to here. Got any suggestions for a route?

Re: Cyclists on Streetview
« Reply #24 on: 09 February, 2014, 04:07:50 pm »
None other than the one through Holytown made obvious from the map. Eurocentral is a bit carcentral, not to mention truck central and is designed to be accessed by motor thing from the A8.
Assuming it's a work visit I would be tempted to Bellshill, and walk up from the station to the cross, passing Gregg's if you can, and just hop a cab from the rank at the west end of the high street. The street view shot is taken from the cross, as if you were in a high cab looking down. Local cabs are maxis taxis who will alternatively meet you if you ask nicely.
Often times when I am without bike  I go to Motherwell because of nicer trains to travel on, and because of taxi rank at the station meaning no thinking required. It's about £8 of a cab ride from Motherwell...
