DIY 200K Today: Sunshine in Scotland Shock!
« on: 31 May, 2008, 06:03:19 pm »
It was forecast to be a nice day here, so I went out for a 200k DIY.
From Kirriemuir, up Glenisla

Over the Blacklunans road, past Drumore Loch

Over Moulin Moor, before enjoying the descent to Pitlochry, hidden in the valley

On the back road from Pitlochry to Logierait (NCN7?), looking over the River Tummel and the awful A9, hidden in the trees by the river.

Past Aberfeldy, over Loch na Graig and down the Sma' Glen

Down to Auchterarder, towards Dunning, where  I stopped to look at this memorial

Then over to Perth, up the main road and home in time for tea.
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

Any virgins left there?

Great photos - I know that neck of the woods a little, as my brother used to live in Auchterarder and we used to take the Sma Glen road to go kayaking, in the days before the new A9 road.
