Subject to telescope weather, Spiritual home?

Spiritual home sounds good.

I thought the telescope was fully automated. Otherwise what are all the gadgets for?

There's a couple of things I can't automate at the moment, one is any polar alignment adjustment

Nah, this one has your name all over it.  Anything to do polar has to involve bears which is your specialist subject!

I think the Angel and Harp is easiest for Tomsk, but the Compasses might make it worth getting the bike out

Spiritual Home is a good choice.

I'm aiming for 8pm, and assume we'll be outside on such a fine summer's evening ... so will bring something warm to wear!

I'm planning on being out.
Probably looking at a return to the 7:30 depart from Witham, with a shortish route and 8:30pm-ish eta at the SH.

See some of you at 7:30 in Witham

The big tent was still in the back garden at the SH yesterday, with a different side panel configuration (less gaps to let the wind through).

Good to see everyone.   Really enjoying these evenings at the moment.

If you can't ride as much as you would like sitting around and talking about bikes is almost as good.

Any thoughts about Wednesday? The Cats was mooted some time back, or how about an eastern and offshore friendly venue like the Sun, Feering. Having discovered the Queen's Head in Boreham, it would be worth a return visit soon too.

Not sure I'll be out as I have a dose of Cellulitis on my leg at the moment - even work is a bit hard to do with it at the moment...  ::-)

Can always have an alternative far Western venue - Three Horseshoes at Duton Hill springs to mind.

Thanks for the consideration, but I can skip this week given how popular Feering seems to be. Last time we had a split location the eastern fraternity disintegrated ... although with the Strangler making an appearance I'm sure that'll not happen this week.

Feering is about 20 miles for me - I reckon I should be along around 20:30.

Another time to Duton Hill would be good if there's an offshore trip East in the future. Can't get out tomorrow as too much work at the moment.
