Using Picasa to upload to Flickr
« on: 23 January, 2011, 05:36:01 pm »
Seeing as it's the internet's defacto photographic community, I've finally got around to joining Flickr.  I'm going to use it to show off some of my favourite images and contribute to discussions, group projects and so on.

But the bulk of my online images are still on Picasa and I much prefer using Picasa to edit files. If you don't want to do it online, Flickr comes with an 'Uploadr' application that you can install to fast-track your work onto the internet.

But I've just found a very nifty little gizmo that lets you make bulk uploads to Flickr directly from your Picasa application.  If I can install it and get it working, anyone can.  If you use Picasa and post a lot of images to Flickr, it could really simplify your workflow.
