What was the turnout like? Plenty of no-shows I imagine.

Looked a really good turnout to me, I'm sure there were some no-shows but I was impressed by how many did turn up. I've done it in previous years and it looked to be in rude health .... looking forward to next year.

It was a fab event as it always is - put on by such a positive (and numerous) group of organisers and volunteers. Quite a bit of rain but then quite a bit of everything really, not least jelly babies.

Route is super tough as a proper grimpeur should be, but luckily my riding buddy and I remembered our climbing legs and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Thanks very much for putting the event on which is no easy task in these still-Covid times, greatly appreciated.

Heading out so will have to watch the rest of the video later - does anyone know if the tandem made it round?

93 finishers! That's a terrific effort for a tough ride in sub-optimal conditions. Very well done the organisers on attracting so many non-AUKs as well
