Just so we're clear...Maldon CAMRA Beer Fest on Wednesday instead of the Royal Oak, Hazeleigh, yes? Not that they're that far apart...

    YES

Dont forget your CAMRA card for free entry!!

I'm not available, and Maldon is rather far in any case. But hopefully we'll find a beer festival slightly further west in due course ... in addition to the Chelmsford one which I've already noted.

I think we're going to The Maldon beer fest. However I have a root  ;D what goes past the Royal Oak so I might pop in so I can log it as a FORWARD PLANNING win!  :smug:

All this talk of rooting, filth  ;D

I would love to come along tonight but having already had 2 days from home means I can't really do another one and I am still struggling with the getting up at 5am lark at the moment so it is likely I will give it a miss. I do have the bike with me in London today so I may change my mind.

I shall be along around 9pm - will be sensible and stay home for an early night, before the Arrow next week though...

If you are on the fence about going to the velodrome later in the month I need to know your intention very soon.  Please follow the payment link to book your place - https://paypal.me/GrantHuggins/36
Due to level of response so far I may need to cap participants at 15 unless there is a sudden surge in bookings to have 20+ riders.
If I cap at 15 I'll need to cancel the 2nd instructor with no possibility of late entries.

OTP I have these either paid up or expressions of interest that has reserved a place:

If I haven't mentioned you please remind me that you had expressed interest.

ETA: The surge has begun

It's all gone quiet here recently.
Any interest in a spin this evening and where to?  I know the OD FORWARD PLANNINGTM document lists the Crown in Messing, however I seem to have recollection of a dissenting suggestion of somewhere else.

I'm planning to join the ride tonight and had messing as the destination. Planning to join you at spa Road roundabout

I have this route in the ride archive, if it pleases the peloton, or suggest something else.

I wont be at Messing tonight, its a bit far pre-arrow.  There is potentially the pre-beer festival tasting night at The Woolpack Chelmsford, I haven't been down there for a few weeks so don't know for sure if it is on or not.  I'm in too minds myself about tonight plus complicated by 'in-laws' being over for the evening.....

I can make arrangements to be somewhere if anyone is still looking to drop off luggage for Arrow team car transfer....

Jibers....I've decided to carry all my Kak with me....or better said I will be smelly and using Sudocrem! (although that nice new Merino jersey means the smell will be manageable.

The thing that changed my mind was that I would need to get it all back from York which could be a potential PITA.

I won't be out tonight, my Velodrome session last night burnt a few matches I didn't have spare so I shall be resting my legs after the commute and getting some extra sleep.

so the FORWARD PLANNING dictator isn't in the county and only Jan has said he is meeting at the roundabout, anyone else out this evening?  Late notice I know but I'd rather go sit with jibers and Jan in the Woolpack than be in separate pubs.  Thoughts??

Sounds like a plan to me.  I'll still come to the spa road roundabout for 7:30.  Is there any particular place to wait?

Just by the Powers Hall End sign at the roundabout, we'll be heading off westbound towards Terling - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/20243409
Looks like only the two of us awheel this evening.

Still plenty of space available for the Velodrome track session at 8pm on 26th April, why not come along and bring a friend? All abilities accommodated between the two instructors we have for the evening.
This is likely to be the last track session I book before the winter so don't miss out if you fancy it!
