I've really enjoyed it so far but... (click to show/hide)Roper knows that there is a mole in the camp, and knows it is one of four people. Three of those people are fairly well known to him, one has recently gained his trust by rescuing his son, but Roper knows little more about him. So when Corky and Pine fight outside the camp Roper appears to happily accept Pine's version of the story that Corky is the mole. But maybe there is more to it than meets the eye and we shall have to wait until next weekend
Love the James Bond-y title sequence and music
Watching this might get the other half interested in Le Carre finally, I keep offering a couple of his less Cold War thrillers, more social commentary/evil corporations/industrial espionage types, but she's not hooked yet. She's been asking when it's on.
Only one question from me.Who did he transfer the 300 million to?Charity?
And it's been announced that the next Le Carre adaptation will be The Spy who came in from the cold.
