Inspired by the war films thread
Some years ago I watched some of a film* on BBC3 or 4.
Seemed to be set in Finland or Norway and involved some one being dressed in an SS uniform and left chained to a rock with a rifle and left behind by the retreating Germans to get massacared by the oncoming Russians. He freed himself and was taken in by a female local who lived alone in a log cabin who also took in a lost german soldier.
Any ideas of the title?
* It was way after midnight, I was fairly drunk and slept through large chunks of it.
