Title: Auk web announcement
Post by: frankly frankie on 09 October, 2015, 03:46:04 pm
It seems there are likely to be interruptions to service on AUK's primary domain name  aukweb.net

If you find the website unobtainable, please use the alternative address:
www.aukweb.com (http://www.aukweb.com/)
or in other words, for any bookmark or link you have, just substitute com for net
all services (logins, entries etc) should work as usual.

I advise that you stick with  net  for as long as it is available, and only switch to  com  if or when it disappears.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Unnotified changes by/at the original hosting company.

FF's sorting it out, but there's a possibility of the weekend getting in the way, so the solution may not be seamless.

Ah sounds like the great service (not) we got from our hosting when we were trying to sell the LEL deposits. We've since moved the website to a far better place.

The main Force GB website seems fine, but going to *any* club shop (there are a few links from their facebook page) gives the same message.

If I had to guess, I'd say that their ecommerce site sits on another server (or indeed that the shop/ordering gubbins is outsourced), and it's that account that's up the swanee. No doubt it'll come back again soon.

To avoid problems, the simple solution is to not deal with ForceGB
