I prefer the first option, for what little it is worth. I'm unsure whether I'd buy such a sticker anyway.
An interesting idea, by the way. Back in the day (up till the 50s perhaps), some French brevets had 'seals' on riders' bikes and some riders simply never cut them off the frame. Bike collectors seem to like knowing something of a bike's history, even when the original owner is long buried. A RUSA friend prints his own discrete sticker every time he finishes a LRM event (which is fairly frequently) that gets added to his bike case.
