[HAMR] 31st October - Teethgrinder day 304/85

He's on his way, although the map wouldn't load so I don't now in which direction.

Good luck Steve! Steer clear of the witches!

Well he doesn't appear to be heading for Pendle, or Alderley Edge, lands of the witches and wizards, as usual for this time, he is passing  Clophill. Not sure if the good ladies of Cambridge or Essex want to be known as witches, even if some have the looks.    ;D

If he takes one of his regular trips around Ely (Cambs) he may pass through or near to Witchford, Witcham, Coveney...  :o

Go Steve!
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

The place near here that's most noted for witches is Canewdon, supposedly. I can't see him bothering with the Essex coast though.

Edit: map loading now. He's on well-trod routes eastwards through Herts.

He could have gone to Wicken Bonhunt, near Saffron Walden, but opted instead for King's Lynn, where my father's youngest sister lives.

East Anglia is well known as the haunt of Black Shuck, who has form for chasing cyclists.

But then he logged another 33km for a total of 354.8km That must be 222 miles for the day. Excellent work!

According to Strava, yesterday amounted to 201+ 19.4 therefore attaining WR pace must be within grasp if Steve can replicate that performance, by my calculations. Be good to see Steve get above that line on Jo's charts.

Oh, silly me. I looked at Steve's home page and didn't see the second ride. But now I can see it and it makes yesterday a good day.
