It is simpler than it looks.

I like the way that big wall mirror turns his kit into VC167 colours.

To be honest, if you look at Steve's girth from the mirror, he looks to be quite portly.

Allez nomming that food.

His face looks a lot leaner from when I saw him last early in the year. Looks well from this pic

Weather at Peterborough this morning was just horrible: wet and very blowy.
Giraffe spoke briefly to Steve at breakfast.
Sky cleared later but Steve was already on the road.

Go Steve!

I got blown all over the road on a short trip to the shops this afternoon.  I dread to think what it's like in the flatlands.

From the horse's mouth on my Twitterfeed:

<<A bit blowy today. Speed down to single digits on exposed roads. May manage 180 miles today.>>

It was gusty over night ,in the fens, but calmed a bit during the day. I was able to tow a couple of 4 ft xmas trees on the trailer back from the allotment, into the wind without too much trouble. I wouldn't want to be out all day though.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

Riding west out of central London on the A4, A315, A30 was not easy this afternoon, the wind was both gusting and against.

Go Steve riding back from Peterborough

We just rode back to West London from Peterborough. At times, it was quite tough to get much above 20kph across the fens. The cyclists we saw going the other way looked very happy!
Wheel meet again, don't know where, don't know when...
