If I was an security guy and he came around and did that on my beat, I would have been too busy to send him off with picking my jar up and going again again again :)

Brilliant! I love the way that bystanders rush over to see what an earth he'd just done when he dropped off a massive wall!
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

The same thing happened (with some video edit/cut) in the middle when he jumped down the flight of stairs.

When he's going backwards, he mostly back pedals. Is he doing that to look cool, or is there some kind of fancy freewheel/fixed mechanism going on?

Um, go and get your bike and push it backwards. Notice what the pedals do.

Well, on my fixed the pedals obviously go backwards. On my geared bikes the cranks stay put. Only shitty, badly set up geared bikes will turn the pedals when pushed backwards. And to think that even the crappiest bike with a freewheel ever would force your legs backwards is pretty dumb.......

I do it every time I wheel a bike out of the garage!!

Are you seriously trying to tell me that going backwards on a bike fitted with a freewheel would force your legs to go backwards too?

Try it  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I bet you can't freewheel backwards without your pedals turning your legs.  ;D ;D ;D

Well, my only attempts at going backwards on fixed or geared bikes have always resulted with me in a hedge!  :P

I'm with, well, everyone else - if you push the bike back, the pedals turn!

Only if the resistance of the freewheel mechanism is greater than that of a pushed backwards drive train.... Maybe *everybody else* uses Shimano   :demon:

May I suggest *everyone else* gets a geared bike out, pushes it backwards whilst holding one of the cranks. I think you'll find that it will freewheel rather than ripping your arm off.
