I managed two hours in the gym, I feel great, am glowing and happy.  My dad is able to talk again, can't ask for more than that.

My sister's horrible ex has announced he has a new girlfriend. This is very, very good news (for sis, not the new girlfriend).

I was too lazy to go 4 miles to Ikea and drag a 179cm Ivar bookshelf plus shelves back tied to the bike, so I just went food shopping insted

Then, walking home from Sainsbury's I found first two Ivar shelves on the road near my house, then two side units.

 ;D ;D ;D

Not so much good news as a good feeling really.

We spent Friday doing shopping and chores on our bikes which was great fun.

On Saturday, we tried, and failed to keep up with the local club ride but still had a great day out and met some nice people.

Today, Mrs. TKP went riding with a ladies cycling group and really enjoyed it and I went out on my own, something I rarely do, and I had a fantastic ride and now feel wonderful.

I can't ever remember such a cycling centric weekend and it makes me feel  :) :) :) and what's more, it is still only February. I have a good feeling about this coming year.

TKP, that's so good to hear, makes me feel all warm and happy.

My good news.  I am just happy and tired.  I don't know why, I just am.  Oh, I managed to sort out my front wheel today.

It is news like yours that makes me want to cycle even more.  I intend to just ride and ride as much as possible, anywhere and everywhere, shopping trips and visits to school.   It will be good for my mood.

Other good news, I was measured for my new bike today, by the guys from Cyfac.

Apparently the cat still has some blood flowing into the left back leg, so the vet doesn't think they'll have to amputate it

I've just finished doing my expenses for 2008. I had 5 months worth  :o
It will, in effect, be "free" money because it's all been accounted for and the credit card bills paid.
Some of it will go on bike bits, the rest I'll squander

New upstairs neighbours!

(Now we can turn the thermostat down and get our flat heated for free by both the upstairs and downstairs neighbours!)

We took my Mum out to lunch today, or more precisely, we took her to a pub and she bought us lunch. After two years of physical and mental ups and downs she is almost her old self again. Considering that we thought we were seeing the beginning of the end a few times it was just lovely to see her laughing and telling funny stories again. Her short term memory is still shot but physically she is in pretty good shape. She was surprised to be told she had ordered a pudding, for example, but she had no problem demolishing it when it arrived.  ;D
