Ours is Sities and is now four and doing very well at the Dame Sheldrick foster home near Nairobi. Amazing place it is too and the "carers" give up four years of their lives to help the little ones. They literally live with them, and sleep with them too.

My better half loves ellies, and well I quite love them too.

We visited there in the '90's. Good to know its still going. We had a walk out to where some keepers and their charges were, and were given a wee talk on how they live with them day and night at first.  They were really playful, it was lovely to watch them.

Not hefalumps but, we do sponsor a couple of cheetah at Daniell Cheetah Project where we have spent some time as volunteers and will be returning for another stint in a few weeks.
