Tour of the Borders and Galloway

I know it'll be an x-rated 600, but having experienced a few DIY600s, I've figured it'll be nice just to know that other audaxers are sharing the route at the same time. Yes, I know that the road next to the A74(M) is a grind, but Andy does take us to lovely places and who wouldn't want to do that climb from Moffat up past the Devil's Beef Tub?

There are hotels at Gretna services about 375km in, and only 15km from the start line - so a convenient place to book for the Friday/Saturday/Sunday: to stay nearby the night before and after, and also to leave a change of clothes halfway round rather than carrying them.

Who's in?

I have entered. Was mithering a bit about accommodation general fitness and such like. I could enjoy a steady ride round in your company.

Looks as if entries are closed at the moment, with numbers restricted due to covid regs (Scotland), but hoping to re-open for entries as restrictions allow. There is a reserve list.

18 quid is quite a lot for an X-event.
Has never ridden RAAM
