I've been thinking about Everesting for a while, but have been put off by the fact that most of the suitable hills in Hampshire are about 100m in height which means riding up the same hill 90 times. Not a lot of fun.
However, a circuit from the Jack Russell in Faccombe to Ashmansworth, East Woodhay, West Woodhay Down, Coombe Gibbet, Coombe, Linkenholt, Netherton and back up to the Jack Russell nets somewhere between 470m and 480m, so would require 19 circuits, which (fatigued) should take me an hour. That would be much more entertaining, with the advantage of some liquid refreshment in the Jack Russell at the finish.
But, is that cheating? Or is it just a sensible extension of the Everesting concept?
And if it isn't cheating, is anyone up for a go at it in the second half of July or first half of August?
