Darts vs Javelin

I heard something on Danny Baker last week that suggests there is quite a cross-over between these two. e.g. At least one top darts player has also chucked the bigger arra at the highest level.

Could be statistically irrelevant. But if there is any truth, I'm really surprised - it seems like completely different muscles involved etc ...

I was building one from a Kiel Kraft kit in school, but the classroom was broken into one weekend and vandals slit the glue tubes in all the boxes.

Sorry, I can't remember - and I didn't even recognise the name. (not a fan of Darts)
