So Joergen, the Hustler and I are all staying at the Rambouillet Ibis next weekend.  I understand, that by some odd coincidence, Tomsk is camping about 2km away.  I don't suppose any other ACME types are staying in that area next weekend are they and if so where ?

Joergen will be arriving early on the Friday so will hopefully have a suitable venue for Friday evening and Saturday evening all sorted by the time anyone else arrives.

Doubtless you will have sampled a few of them during the afternoon and can let us know your preferred option.

Bear in mind that the Hustler has different needs.

Doesn't that put the steak house up the top of the list?

The Straggler is camping at Huttopia too. I'm there from Friday evening, he's getting there Saturday midday-ish I think.

There must be somewhere in town we can get Belgian beer  Maybe Rammers isn't as cosmopolitan as St Quentin?

Joergen will have a list of venues, graded in order of preference and also by extent of beer selection by the time we are there on Friday.

Where is everyone else staying - or are Psyclist and Grey Sheep riding a DIY 400 instead of booking hotels ?

We've managed to fit in a 600km each way, making a proper ride of it!

After a bike check on the Saturday lunchtime, we're heading to Saint Quentin for a bit of cosmopolitan life. No fixed plan, but as I'm the nominated driver I'll not be suggesting we have a night out in Rambouillet.

I’m staying in Hanches with linda, about 17km away. My bike check in is at about 5pm, so happy to meet up afterwards.
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

Do we have a list of the ACME PBPists and their frame numbers so us interested spectators can track progress?

I have downloaded the GPX tracks from the PBP site.  I have uploaded into Ride With GPS and will make available through our Club account.

I think I'm going to work through Nicks and add proper cue points rather than just the control locations.

Bon courage to all ACME riders on your French adventures - rather jealous I can't be there too. Will no doubt catch up with you all over the coming months to hear the war stories
