Title: Storing Root Veg for winter
Post by: Flite on 05 July, 2020, 09:37:07 pm
Years ago, when I had a very big veg garden and surplus root veg, I stored beet, carrots and parsnips in peat.  It was a lot lighter and nicer to use than the traditional damp sand, but no longer acceptable for eco reasons. Hoping for some veg to store this year, so is it back to damp sand or has anyone a better suggestion, please?
