I once worked with Ronnie Corbett.  That's a discussion for another time.  He lived in Croydon environs, and frequently featured in our local paper.

it came on the news while I was having lunch, made my 12 year old watch the segment, she gets that style of humour as well, seems to be universal.

My uncle Tommy was his coalman when RC lived in Gullane. There was a dispute about the bill.
