Not round here - minimum of 2°C according to the met office. We had -1.7°C on 19th March. That was the coldest so far.

Still no air frost in our garden - although there were lots of icy cars in the night. Minimum temperature 1.3°C, at 7 a.m. or thereabouts.

That was 'KIN cold!!! Very glad I now have sealskinz lobster claw gloves, they are the best gloves I've yet owned. Oh, and LOLZ at my mate, who asked what gloves I was looking at in the shop and responded "Isn't that a bit unethical?" Doh!

Saw my first ice of the winter today, on roadside and pathside puddles - but only in South Glos, they have the good sense to keep out of Bristol proper! Presumably the city is big enough to keep a sufficiently warm microclimate  :) - though the fact that I'm virtually never out in the early morning must also be taken into account. Just about warm enough in fingerless mits still, but I think I need some fancy socks or winter shoes.

Minus 2c when trikling home from work at 04-30 this morning (Oxford to near Woodstock - Oxfordshire),frost and brilliant  full(ish) moon, stars out and the road all to myself, can't be bettered  :thumbsup:

Now it's hailing again, so hard it's made the senso back light on my bike (I can see where it's parked through the window) come on. I think I may be walking today.  :(

Mild again here at 8°C. However, the pressure dropped to 983mb this morning, the lowest so far this year.

We dropped to 974 mbar by early this morning, slowly recovered to 976 in the last few hours. Bit windy, and a torrential downpour for a while overnight, but nothing amazingly extreme has happened.

One weather site predicts -2 for York tomorrow, the other one 2.

Oh, and 'hard packed snow' on the road, but temperatures above 0 and no snowfall.


Is this just a case that the meteorologists don't have a clue what is happening?
