Cold and windy this morning on a short 20 miler this morning. The SNO set in about 1pm.
Chucking it down now - fine wind blown stuff. We are forcast about 4-5 inches (10-12cm) of the stuff so we shall see how accurate the Met Office is..... :)
We are above 800ft so it should stay a while....

I was wrong when I said it wouldn't settle. At least, it has stopped melting as soon as it hits the ground. Nothing thick enough to write in yet. Impressively big frozen puddle right by one set of bike racks on Gloucester Rd. Cold makes me hungry, and then I buy more food, forgetting that I've only taken one pannier to carry it home in. Leeks sticking out the top like a flag pole!

Oh, that's a shame :(

I was just starting to worry the pizza delivery place won't bring me birthday party pizza later on. But I can always ride there on snow tyres with bungees for the pizzas!

Has been snowing here in North Yorkshire since lunchtime, about 5 minutes after I said "I don't think we will get any snow this year" in fact...

Snowing here as of about 90 mins ago, temp dropped from 0 to -2C just as Kim has to cycle home from Mordor.

Just above freezing in Liverpool, it's raining with the occasional bit of wet sleet mixed in.  I'm sitting next to a warm radiator and staying here !

To be fair, my own fault the last time, I picked her up after she'd just come in.  Otherwise she was perfectly warm, cat fur is a good insulator.

I thought I should go out for a ride in the snow. Not as much of it here as in Brum, but I went out for, ooh, at least ten minutes. Up to the top of Blackboy Hill was fine. Side roads a bit slippery - I actually had an instant of wheel spin! - but busier roads clear. But coming down - ooof! My fingertips were so numb I wasn't sure I'd be able to reach the brake levers!
