Well its been snowing for the last hour or so, sadly the ground is too warm.

Come on UK weather get your act together; nice crisp frost for a week or so + snow for a few days = nice covering and staying snow, kthxbye.

Looks like all of the winter riding gear will be back in service for a few days.

The light dusting of snow is melting but it's freezing, wet and blowing a gale.

Unimpressed is me.

During the weeks and months between the clocks going forward and then back, I wear shorts to work in the bike shop. I think I might need long johns under my shorts this weekend :-\

I was on the Promenade in Morecambe early this (Yesterday) evening. It was a beautiful, clear and sunny day and the snow covered hills across the bay were made more exciting by the contrast.

Go away. Last week I was still riding in summer kit.

Likewise.  Mind you, he's cheating.  Slovakia doesn't have proper weather, like the British Isles do. :)
Actually, it is rocket science.

That's very early, r-r. I don't remember it ever snowing earlier than late October. Tradition is the first snow falls on either All Saints or Independence Day (11/11)!

I got snowed on last month in Cody, Wyoming.

Andrij otp kindly informed me that US-212 not too far from Cody had been blocked by SNO in mid-August and advised me to pack a jumper.  Mind you, that's the BEARtooth Highway which tops out at 1/3 of a cricket pitch under 11,000 feet.  And when I went over it last month it was clear blue skies, double-digit temperatures and the normal-for-Wyoming mighty rushing wind threatening to blow 2D Thomas and me into Canuckistan a day earlier than planned.

I'm in Aberdeen this week (again) and ran tonight in shorts and short sleeved top.  Only put a jumper on to go out to dinner.

It's positively balmy.

For those that can remember we once had snow in June. And then a blazing hot long summer followed.
4th June 1974? I woke up shivering, got up to shut my bedroom window, & saw the Chiltern hills gleaming white in the early morning sunshine. Went back to sleep, & woke up a couple of hours later to go to school, wondering if it had been a dream. Snow had gone. Switched on the radio & they were reporting it on the news, so it was obviously true.

We once had light snow on our Wedding Anniversary (6th June) obviously it didn't lay and sorry but I cannot remember the year.

I did a solo LEJOG in 1986 and had a variety of frozen precipitation when I went over the Lecht on 3 June that year.

'75 I think, cricket matches were cancelled due to snow.

I remember waking up very early because of the cold, getting up to close the window & seeing the Chiltern hills white with snow. I went back to sleep. Woke again a few hours later & thought I'd dreamed it, especially when I looked out of the window. It had gone. But when I switched on the radio, they were talking about it - as were those people who travelled in from the villages out that way, when I got to school.

Not snow, but heavy sleet in the Chilterns right now.

Snowing here now.  There was a light dusting in the night but now it looks a bit more serious.  It's actually the kind of snowfall - lightish, settling on gardens but not on the road - I rather enjoy riding in, but if I tried the missus'd flatten me before I got my tights on.  Anyway, the cardio forbade rides at < 5°C and it's a few ° less than that.

Similar here - steady light snow (mixed with rain) for the last hour which has suddenly got heavier. We're promised more tonight.
