"Is Menchov in trouble?  Or is he attacking off the front?  Oh, it's Kolobnev"

Lack of race information is making for some seriously confused commentary.
It was a day like any other in Ireland, only it wasn't raining

Commentary repeatedly calling TeamGB cyclists 'the Sky Team'.  ::-)

The television coverage is woeful. Boardman and Porter are complaining repeatedly that they are not getting any information about who's in the breakaway group, or how big the gap is, or where the race has got to, or how far there is to go to the finish. It makes one realise how slick the Tour de France coverage is.

Not only that but every time I get up to make a cuppa I return to find the useless b*****ds have switched the channel.

Haven't GB got to chase away now; the leading group is surely too large.

BBC commentary utterly appalling.

In Richmond Park now... I think it is just possible for GB to make it, but it really is terribly close now.

BBC commentary utterly appalling.

It sounds as if they are having to make do with nothing more than we can see on the screen.

Too big a gap!  GB surely can't do it now.

I think Cav has had it.  If the gap starts to shrink then Cancellera will jump off the escape group.  If not then Valverde or Luis Leon will fight it out at the end

Bugger, as I type this Cancellera crashes...
