Playing with my VLF rx kit again.
Today is United Nations day.
The UN came into being on the 24th October,1945, it's aim "to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, achieve international cooperation".
That's going well, then.
To mark UN day, the World Heritage site Grimeton Radio (callsign SAQ) at Varberg, Sweden sends out a message to the world in Morse Code, using the last remaining electromechanical VLF transmitter in the world.
This year's message was composed by Anders Tegnell, Chief Epidemiologist of the Public Health Agency of Sweden.
