Is anyone doing this on Sunday? Any tips for first timers?

Done it loads of times but sadly not this year;

It's a very undulating ride with very few stiff climbs. Assuming you are starting at one of the ferry terminals you'll find the North half quite busy with cyclists and on quiet roads. Once you leave Bembridge even quieter lanes until Whitwell when the benign climb to Blackgang starts. The highest point of the ride is Compton Down near Freshwater with fab views. I avoid the cyclepath to Yarmouth as the road's nicer.

Enjoy! and please support the controls it keeps the whole thing going!

A very well organised event. A bit of rain later on and quite windy all the way around. The food at the controls was great though.

It was great fun. Managed to get halfway round (to Yarmouth) before the rain started, luckily the second half had more tree cover and felt less exposed!

Also excellent tea and cake provision throughout.
