Armstrong to ride the Giro

Armstrong told Gazzetta dello Sport that he was looking forward to the Corsa Rosa. "I can't wait until May, I have never participated in the Giro. Finally I will be able to change this."

Also he seems to be riding the Tour Down Under, despite not declaring soon enough.  Seems the UCI are prepared to bend the rules! :o *faints in surprise*

Yes, UCI have bent the rules for him. Will he (ride to) win it though, as great riders have done before him?  ;)

With the collapse of the Pro Tour, I reckon Armstrong is being paid a wedge by the UCI to bring some publicity to the lesser tours  :o
