Take one old heavily used Rholoff Speedhub and allow oil seal to wear out
Change oil in Speedhub.
Ride bike. Observe oil sprayed all over drive side and completely black chain
Wipe oil off rim and spokes with paper kitchen towel.
Fold paper towel to make thick pad.
Hold around chain. Turn crank a few times to pull chain past towel.
Result beautifully clean oiled chain.
