I'm going to be there.  Possibly with an adorned bicycle helmet as tribute to Sheldon  :D

I'm going - I can't decide whether to go fixed or on my trike. What do you think Sheldon would have wanted?
Won't somebody think of the hamsters!

The ride route, and...

... the Torch route:

So by the time the ride starts the Torch should be at South Bank / Somerset House and heading east.

I'll be there, on Sid the singlespeed (newly christened!).  I very nearly turned up today, since for some reason I had Saturday stuck in my mind instead of Sunday.  It would have been a very small turnout! ;D

I shall be there, either on the trike, or Freyja, likely to be without the sound system though :(

Not coming after all - knackered after DIY 300 yesterday, do not think that achey legs will be assisted by getting them cold.  Also just spent last 1h45 trying to get Glastonbury tickets, & due to the EPIC INCOMPETENCE of whichever code monkeys SeeTickets employ, we have no idea whether we actually have them or not.  I am very cross.  And getting a cold, I think.

I was a bit worried about the snow, but watching the Olympic flame coverage on BBC News 24, it doesn't look like it's settling on the roads, so it shouldn't be a problem to cycle.  It's gonna be chilly though, and I've barely worn any gloves this year... where are they!

I'm still going to leave early to get there.

It was bloody chilly.  I rode down from near cambridge through a blizzard (with a helpful tailwind) but got cold waiting around at speakers corner and left the group to it when we got to trafalgar square to head up to the station and a train home.

The rozzers were taking a keen interest in Sam's musical trailer, what with the olympic torch being nearby n all.. I hope everyone made it back ok!

I didn't think it was as cold as I expected it was going to be!

It was nice to meet people, although I didn't know Wollie and Peli were there... :-\

I think I met, Regulator, Mike, Sam, Charlotte, Liz, erm and probably lots of others, who I either can't remember or didn't realise I'd met.

There is an index to the pictures which weren't too bad here, or you can go through all forty in turn by clicking here.  None of them is particularly good, but I've deleted the photos of the ground, the sky, and those too badly out of focus to recognise anyone (or anything!)

I think we made a pretty good job of remembering Sheldon.

I was only there briefly at the start as, plagued by stomach cramps, I buggered off early. Woolly was there all ride. But a here's a belated "hello!" from me anyway.  :)

You were there long enough to appear in pictures
