Looking for excuses for some European travel next year, I am hoping for a list of dates/ events when classic mountain climbs are closed to motor traffic and cycles reign supreme on the slopes. Any info or links appreciated.

Could you imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth there would be if we closed a road or two in the UK for a morning.

I'd forgotten that Paris has a traffic free day every month.

Bealach na Bà sportive in September, or shorter distance in May. Probably the closest to a classic mountain climb in the UK anyway.
