We would like members of the public, cycle dealers and second-hand shop owners to be vigilant following the theft of two mountain bikes.

They were taken from a locked shed at a property in Grenville Road between 11.30pm on August 25 and 8.30am on August 27.

Two bikes (pictured) were taken between 11.30pm on August 25 and 8.30am on August 27.

They were a Carraro K Race mountain bike - which is predominantly a silver frame with red flashes - and the other - a Rocky Mountain Element 50, which is a red frame with white and yellow transfers and a red and black saddle.

We are urging members of the public to be vigilant and are also urging second hand shops and cycle dealers to be on the lookout for the bikes.

Anyone who feels they have information to help the police investigation is asked to contact officers at Burnham-on-Sea police station on 101.
