I'm on card stamping duties at Wingham. If you two are riding, I guess I'd better make sure I arrive nice and early...

See you there!

Is that the farm shop ?

I'm not dashing round as I plan to ride to/from the event as well.

See you there.

I suspect your idea of 'not dashing' is a little bit brisker than mine...

And I just seen two Audaxes postponed to a later date. What are the thoughts about this one?

It’s still on as things stand and brevet cards have been ordered but I’m in regular dialogue with all the controls and monitoring COVID-19 developments.

Entries are now closed though.

Due to the on-going COVID-19 situation you will be aware that I am unfortunately unable to run the Man of Kent Audax on Sunday March 29th as planned.  These are exceptional times and none of us know how long restrictions will last however at present I intend to run the event once government restrictions and Audax UK’s events suspension are lifted.

Should the restrictions run on after the end of June and it isn’t feasible to reschedule, all entrants will be offered the option of either a refund or donating their entry fee to The Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance which is a very worthwhile local charity normally supported by my cycling club, San Fairy Ann’s Sportive.

Stay safe all and whilst observing Government guidelines keep those wheels turning (sensibly).

Dave,
govt scientitifc advice published yesterday says movement restrictions will need to be in place "for at least the best part of a year". It says these restrictions might be increased or decreased, but we're looking at no get-togethers even by christmas, based on that report.
Besides, it wouldn't be audacious if success were guaranteed.

Hi, I see this event is on 3rd April of this year but I can’t enter. Is it already full?

I am assuming so.  When I entered in February, if my memory serves me, places were limited to 90 I think.

Looking at my calendar on the Audax website there is a warning type triangle next to the entry. Not sure what that means!!
