It looks like he's given up on that one, not even trying. Slightly weird, but I suppose he still has enough of a majority for it to not matter too much.

Meanwhile, instead of focusing his efforts on marginal seats, he's been bringing in changes to the electoral system to make it harder for him to lose the next general election - eg by disenfranchising many poorer voters who don't have ID cards, and by making it possible to refuse to accept the results of the vote.

Partly human nature, I fear. But mainly because of the constant lies they've been fed by the right-wing media, driven by the greed and corruption of the super-rich.

People criticise Labour, and Starmer in particular, for not making more headway in the polls against such an awful rabble, but the plutocrats don't want him in charge any more than they wanted Corbyn, which makes it a real uphill struggle.
