New grips for Brommie bars
« on: 04 September, 2023, 09:34:57 pm »
Looking for replacement pair of grips to replace worn originals. I like Ergon grips. Any recommendation as to which model(s) is suitable or other suitable grips for the Brommie?

Thanks

I use Ergon GP3 grips with the small bar ends from Ergon GP2. A welcome change of hand position, in those brief and rare periods when I don’t have to be able to rapidly throw the anchor out.

Having said that, I am using Joseph Kuosac bars which are a bit wider. I had Ergon 2 on original M bars but had to shorten the grip so that everything would fit.

Which turned out to be highly unsatisfactory.

I have Ergon GP2s on my S-type, curved bars might limit your options?

I also have a S-type with straight bars so I’ll try the GP2s.
