A cycle circuit for Sunderland/Tyneside?

I've just been contacted by someone active in the Sunderland area who is keen to build an off road trqack like the York one. They have a site, they have the users, what they need is the funding. Any one know who the repsonsible British Cycling person for development in the NE of England is?

No.  The biggest clubs in the area are Gosforth CC and the Tyneside Vagabonds AFAICT, and there's Newcastle Phoenix which is a Go-Ride club.  You could try asking those three.

Already have contacts there - trying to find the BC development person for the region. The York circuit has made quite a splash (my contact was at the same conference)
