   Both riding fixed?
[/quote]Joss is, but I have still to see the reason to.

Don't worry GS, it's beyond reason.

I'm starting to really feel the peer pressure to get BJ out again.  You're all bullies.

Here's a compromise for you OD; why don't you arrange to do a huge ride on BJ one Wednesday with a convoluted route but then not turn up.

No one else in the EER needs to take any notice of this as everyone is a free spirit but if anyone was wondering I think I'll be casually riding this (if I manage to get out).

I might intercept you if I casually ride the reverse of a similar route.

Do I spot a cunning plan from Huggy - that looks like a partial route check for the 3Rs.....

I’m hoping Tomsk will be taking his cavernous bag to the official venue, as I am carrying an award to pass over, in preparation for whom may win it in 2 weeks time

Yes but you weren’t one of the One Show Six so you won’t understand. The roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd...

There has been a suggestion to return to the Donkey & Buskins this coming Wednesday on account of them having a beer and sausage festival.  This suggestion may well invoke an East/West split in the MEMWNS collective again but it's just a suggestion - if we do decide to return it may be worth *someone* calling the pub to reserve an area as it was quite busy last week without anything special going on but that didn't deter the landlady from encouraging us to return and place the festival beer & sausage list in front of us.

Barring any REAL LIFE interventions, and there is a wealth of opportunities at the moment, I should be okay for Wednesday evening and the D&B sounds great.

Right then, I’ve just had a very nice lady called Karen phone me from BBC’s Look East (she might well be reading this) and they’d love to come and meet us if we were agreeable. Here’s a skinny (as us media types say)...

Look East want to get out and meet ordinary folk of East Anglia who do interesting things and talk to them about what they do and why and what the benefits are. They also want to talk about issues of the day including Brexit and the election.  We will be going out live from 6:30 to 7pm from a pub, I’ve already provisionally lined up Joss and The Compasses.

Karen would like some footage of us out on the road which is going to be a stretch if we’re to be at The Compasses by 6:30pm. So the provisional plan is they’ll film us next Wednesday evening then meet us at The Compasses the following day (Thursday evening). Is won’t matter if you drive to the pub as we’ll already have the cycling footage in the can (as us media types say!)

Karen needs as many people as possible in fully ACME kit for pub the road and pub filming. Who’s in???  It’ll be fun!!!
