Before you ask, no I didn't, they were too small.

Heads or tails?

Looks like a £2 coin, but considering how bashed about it is, I wonder if it is counterfeit?

I wonder what the precise test for 'still acceptable tender' is; if you handed that in at the Bank of England, would they give you a new one in return?

After squinting at it, consulting a senior colleague and weighing it, a Barclays cashier accepted it this morning and my account is now better off to the tune of £2.

zOMG! Perhaps that's the secret of Blodwyn Pig's amazing findyness. He doesn't actually ride along at 3mph scanning the verges and gutters with action man eyes, nor does he benefit from an unknown someone or someones riding ahead of him leaving stuff in readiness; no, he nicks it from somewhere (his shed, most likely) and drops it himself!!! Genius findsmanship there, Blodders!

Well this is interesting,,a soaking wet muddy bag, with contents, had to put it in a 'finds' bag that I carry, in my Carradice.  At first I wondered what was inside, and when I looked,  I still wasn't sure what it was. Then as I was packing it away, I saw sawdust, and noticed a recently felled tree, that has presumably fallen across the road.

It is in fact a tree surgeons 'lobbing line'    .  Its a very long length of nylon rope,  with a heavy ovaloid weight on the end, and its lobbed up to, and over a  branch, lasso fashion,  and then it falls back on the other side,  so a heavier rope can then be hauled up to secure the limb whilst cutting takes place....phew!

Civil engineering string.  Presumably abandoned after some recent drainage works.

The gutters of your local roads would be in a state of emergency if you missed a ride, overflowing as they would be with dropped and mislaid goodies.

On the buzzard 600 when stopping for a nap on the verge there was a box of 12 bottles of lager. On investigating half were smashed, the rest intact. As SPD pedals seem to designed with beer bottle opening in mind I had one bottle to help my snooze and took another with me on departure, leaving the rest for the next visitor.

whilst riding along, after having found a nice ball point pen some 30km previously, I spied this, but dismissed it , thinking it was just a pair of large silky knickers. But my brain flashed an image of a logo...............NW   Hmm I thought, better pop back and check. So I did.....

As a resident of Birmingham, my first thought was that you were showing us a patch of tarmac that nobody had parked a car on.  Then I spotted the filename and looked closer.
