A birthday present has just arrived at home.. I am planning on using this with the SE 770i phone and Trekbuddy software.

Both journey tracking and GPS navigation should be possible.. though I have to source some maps.
A Google Earth hack may be on the cards..

OK, been playing with this for a few days now. I have the Q1000P.

It doesn't like roads with tall buildings on. The software I have (Trekbuddy) talks to it fine and gets position with an estimate of error.

Logging works fine but if you catch a load of reflections (street with tall buildings on one side) then the accuracy can be a bit off.)

I haven't really sorted out how to follow a preprepared route on the mobile phone yet but a bit more playing should get me there.

Well, the bluetooth/phone connection works fine and it tracks just fine.

However the GPS unit has decided to no longer talk to the PC.

So back it will be going.
