Not really my cup of tea but sort of iconic of the period.

and last night, the Steve Harley Acoustic Band

The audience loved him. Was a nice relaxed and good fun gig. I chatted to them before they went on and I told him I had last seen him play at the Cambridge Corn Exchange in the mid 1970's  ;D

I remember seeing him play Reading Festival in 1983 and having to dodge all the filled drinks bottles being aimed at him, whilst still carrying on singing.

Just to add to my earlier post.

The Tour Manager was being difficult and suggested I did less than the 'accepted' first three songs. That's when I said that I had last seen him play at the Cambridge Corn Exchange. Steve Harley said that was a while ago, and the venue had changed a lot since then. He then shook my hand and pointedly said "Take as many photos as you want".

He was going to be The Phantom Of The Opera at one point but, if you've seen the pop video, his voice wasn't right at all.
