I no longer have toothache. After on an off toothache for months it became mostly on in the last two days. It got unbearable yesterday afternoon so I made a call to NHS Direct. They put me in touch with the dental person, a lovely sounding Geordie lass. She got the emergency dentist bloke to call me and he gave me an appointment in the emergency clinic last night at 20:25. After my heavy leg workout, selling a stem and a McChicken sandwich I take a taxi up there. In a dodgy area, at the Sheepscare end of Meanwood Road I was apprehensive. I shouldn't have been. The two female receptionists were lovely, took my money, £16.50 and I waited until 20:25. I was called in and a young (relative to me) Chinese looking fellow extracted a tooth and filled another. The filling is a temporary job until I can find a dentist to do a proper job.
There is bad news though.
