Advice in song lyrics

It occurred to me that, from time to time, song lyrics provide useful life guidance. Rather than just list them, how about you try to guess?

This could equally well have been Kissing With Confidence by Will Powers.  Or maybe the ‘Floss.’ line from Baz Luhrmann.
