Mrs G is at work. I'm on holiday (Ha!) with a list:
Fit new shelf in living room. (There are sockets in the way

Do usual washing and ironings.
Walk dogs.
Feed goat and make sure it has liquid water.
Change bed and get spare room ready for daughter's arrival tomorrow.
Attempt to bake another fruitcake.
See if there's enough timber to build the log box I promised before Christmas
Mark the 50 exercise books on the kitchen table, or hide them.
Do something with the rubbish - we've had no bin collection for four weeks.
Chop sticks and light the stove.
Make dinner, eventually... but don't overcook the pasta, like last night.
Meh. I hate this domestic stuff when there's no one around to appreciate it.
I think I'll start with a giant bacon baguette.
