"treats" with coffee in Belgium
« on: 06 August, 2008, 12:48:15 pm »
Cafes always serve coffee with a small treat; sometimes it would be a mini profiterole or a small chocolate mouse but mainly a yellow cream with a choc flake or cream topping.  I'm guessing it was probably an eggnog or advocaat but the measures are so small I couldn't be positive.  Whatever, most acceptable wether served in a small glass holding less than a tea spoon of filling or, sometimes, in a small chocolate case.

Can anybody educate me on what I've been consuming ?
