I had a sort plum coloured frame with chrome stays. Looked amazing. Deep flamboyant burgundy is always nice.Curious about your choice of DA hubs. Not the most well sealed...hence not a common choice on UK roads.

Traditionally, BJs are white pearl with red lining.I like flams; nothing looks bad in them. I avoid dark colours for sportier bikes as they look heavy - they're good on tourers.
Is there anything like the old Mercian bike creator still around so I can play with colours?

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.
How about this? The owner says it's black and grigio, looks blue. I could always get it in wordperfect blue.Found the old colour pictures from BJ's website.http://cosmico.jp/order/colors
Purple Velvet was a 1970s colour on MkIII Tina's. It's a good bit darker than Brucey's pic.....
