I've added a feature to show when you've ridden a ride in other years.

When viewing 'all years' click on a ride and all other rides will be greyed out except the instances in other years where you have ridden the same ride.

Click on a highlighted ride again to go back to the normal view.

Note this probably won't work in all instances.  Events it won't work for have an event number that looks something like 'MW01' as those event numbers seem to be generic across a number of events.
Nice idea, but it's difficult to implement correctly alongside the roll-up of ECE's. There's one ride I have done 3 times, but on one occasion I did it with an ECE. Clicking on one of the unextended 2 highlights just that pair but not the ECE ride. Clicking on the third shows up all rides I have Extended (by both 100 & 200km).

You could parse the name out pretty easily enough and if it doesn't match, stop going back any further.
Good call! I will implement that.

Though you just pick up another problem then, which is that over a 10-year period people's names can change too.  By marriage for example, or by changing 'Christopher' to 'Chris'.  This may seem an insignificant likelihood, but in the AUK results service we have to do fettling to deal with this sort of thing 2 or 3 times a year.   I would definitely only match the first letter of the firstname, to eliminate the 'Chris' problem.

Now implemented.  It's matching on the first three characters of the first name.

Seems to be working, for instance Ben T is now showing results from 2009.

If a few other folk who were experiencing this issue could test and let me know if it looks ok for them that would be appreciated.

Disappointed to see that 5446 has not been allocated so nobody can claim '54-46, That's my number'...  :D

I should be able to sort that.  Could you PM me your membership number so that I can take a look?

This is why it's now time for the human race to do away with surnames.... just give everyone a forename, and a guid. Would make things a lot easier :)

Is "Get your stripes" still working?  I find it really useful.

Should be, although if something has changed on the auk site that can break it.

Just tested it and seems to be working fine. If you see any issues let me know!

At some point I do intend to spend some more time on it and enhance it, just not had the free time recently!

I do like the get your stripes infographic - is 'all years' working for you or others? It seems to leave me blank. Cheers. G.

Not currently working, tho the website is, up which is a shame.

Is the information not being pulled correctly from the newish AUK site?
What on earth am I doing here on this beautiful day?! This is the only life I've got!!

The results are still currently all on the old site, although work is starting to move this across. Once this happens it would be great to offer the "stripes" facility directly on the AUK site if the creator was willing!
